The review was published in The September addition of 'Motor Boat Monthly`. All the locks were tested idividually via the Hampshire constabulary by various methods and tools including crowbars, hacksaws, drill, lump hammer, chisels and screwdrivers.
Each unit was given 10-15 minutes. Each unit was then rated on:
1. Ease of use
2. Security
3. Value for money

In conclusion, we received top marks on all three grades outclassing all of the other locks on test.
